Let's talk about this Kanye west situation.All of Twitter, Is Graham and Facebook seems to beAny current up for aboutKanye West tweeting support for Donald Trump.Then there was a follow-up by chance wrapperTweeting aboutBlack people not having to be Democrats.As someone who has very moderateViews on a lot of political issues but mostly liberal still, I have to say this: KANYE WEST IS TROLLING US!

The man has a new album coming out. Although we know tha his fame makes it unnecessary for him to even NEEEED to create his own buzz around his new projects, Kanye West is very insecure. We see it through his music lyrics, public appearances, and even His love interests.

But amid all of the chaos, Let's talk about Chance the Rapper's tweet.

1. Black People have not always been Democrats

Having a wwell rounded political view is not new to black people. Most black people identified as republicans until the 1960s.

2. Kanye is using the Kardashian Model for selling a product before its even available.

Kim posts a nude every time she drops a new perfume or lipstick. The point is to get people talking baout the brand. Kim Kardashian is a brand and so is Kanye. His brash and unpredictable behavior has been what keeps us coming back for more asking "How far will he go from the person we were introduced to in 04'?

3. Leave Chance alone

Chance is Kanye's musical offspring. I will not say that he will agree on everything that Kanye says but he may agree with most of what Kanye says. I will not denounce Chance but i have to question his inclination to support Kanye West with unwavering support. We are guilty of supporting our favorite artist despite the chaos of their persona.

As a culture we have to relieve the exxpectations we have on musicians to be the voice of the downtrodden. These are individuals navigating through society with what they create. Any actvism that rappers, actors, and the like are involved in, is optional. So lets not be surprised when one of the most complex figueres such as Kanye West flip flops around his goddamn politics.
