A Wrinkle In Time did not bring me whim, it brought me Painful Humor

A wrinkle in time is about a young girl's quest to ffind her father in the universe.

A Wrinkle In TIme has been in a media blitz for what feels like, a full year. I have not read the novel but the previews excite me.

I have not seen a tripel set of actresses like the ones brought in this film; Oprah Winfrey, Kelly Mindy Kahling, and Reese Witherspoon. The appeal of a young girl going on a sci-fi epic adventure across the universe is alluring.

None of this took place. Instead, I saw an expensive and rushed film. The abrupt scene transitions are off puting. The lack of description of the characters coupled with strange character changes not to mention is complete devoidance of the Christian values and themes from the story.

The film even includes its own real life verstion of Stewie Griffin when the younger brother, Charles Wallace Murry turns 'evil'. I still dont know why Meg called him by all his full government name the entire film.

Perhaps I should read the book to better understand the need for an elaborate costume lineup, poorly explained characters, and slow progressing plot.

A wrinkle in time is not a film I would take my younger niece of younger self to see.
