I'm okay with missing Beyonce & Jay Z's OTR II tour

Today, Beyonce announced that there would be a tour this summer. Immediately, all of my group chats blew up. I had to mute 3. People are already planning trips, paying off credit cards, and requesting time off work for this concert. However, I am not pressed. Although Beyonce will be in New Orleans, the home of her sister and their creole heritage, on my LITERAL birthday, I do not think I want to go. I could drive to New Orleans from Dallas easily, but I dont think it is for me this time. This thought of spending vacation money on an experience that I have had in another arena that leaves me with a slight hadache and ringing ears seems wasteful. Ths is not some sot of confession of a fleeing loyalty.
The thing is: I have seen Beyonce basically every year for the past several years only missing the I am Sasha Fierce tour. Whether it be a concert or a music festival. I know her set. I know every run and key climb that her voice will do on Crazy In Love and Drunk In Love. I have reached the point where I need more incentive to spend $300-$500 on a concert ticket.
Then, this beauty popped up on my Twitter feed today,which makes me wonder what is Beyonce up to?? Will there be another HBO special or will they record the tour?!
I will always be apart of the Beyhive and a Stan but Beyonce does not have the same rarity that she once had. So much of her concert experience has been shared, recreated, or repeated. Amidst the screaming crowds and pandemonium are the day-one fans who will support Bey no matter what. I am that fan, I will always be. I went to the On the Run Tour in 2014, I enjoyed it very much. I will admit that the show was a little mediocre compared to the quality that Beyonce usually brings on tour. The state was very naked with minimal visuals, Beyonce did not change her outfit often and Jay Z stayed in the same outfit the entire show. There is a leeriness that overwhelms me when I think of spending vacation money on a ticket for a two hour or 3 hour live performance in an arena that my astigmatism prompts need of a binoculars.

I am positive that we will wake up tomorrow to a new album or visual but that is what is expected. Now, I would like to see Jay Z do songs from the 4:44 album. However, I will keep my coin until I see something interesting. I know the Queen will not disappoint.I really think this tour will feature music form the collab album that Jay and Bey have been working on.
